Parking brake mechanism improvements

The original parking brake mechanism that I engineered from an original Porsche 356 (see post) worked ok, but overtime the end bent a little with the amount of force being exerted on it by the cable. I have, therefore, come up with an improved design which has three brackets for mounting on the front axle instead of two. This means that the loop that pulls the brake cable is supported on both sides, making it much stronger.

I actually designed and had the parts fabricated a year or so ago, but have just got it welded up at the same time as the collapsible steering column. They have all now been painted (below) and installed. The parking brake works a treat now.
